I ❤️ COZAD. BECAUSE WE HAVE CARE CLOSE TO HOME.
From hospital care and routine checkups to dental visits, eye care, chiropractic services, and support for our overall wellness, having access to so many healthcare services right here in our community makes a difference.
Whether it’s caring for us when we’re sick, helping us stay healthy, or being there when we need medical attention, we’re grateful for the dedicated healthcare professionals who look after our families, friends, and neighbors.
Having quality care close to home is something worth loving about Cozad! ❤️

Eight years ago, Rivet Design & Co. was one embroidery machine in a spare bedroom. Through Cozad Development’s Pitch It competition, that idea got the opportunity to take root right here in Cozad.
This month, Rivet Design is celebrating eight years in business. It’s exciting to look back and see how far a local idea can go when someone is willing to take a chance and a community is willing to believe in it.
Congratulations to Rivet Design Co. on eight incredible years! We’re proud to celebrate this success story and the entrepreneurs who continue to make Cozad a place where ideas can grow and businesses can thrive.
This is what economic development looks like. ❤️

I ❤️Cozad. Because Kids Can Grow Here.
From Pre-K through 12th grade, Cozad gives kids opportunities to learn, explore their interests, discover their strengths and dream about what comes next.
Teachers. Coaches. Activities. Families. Schools. Community.
It takes all of us to help kids grow into the people they’re meant to become. And we’re proud to be a community that supports them along the way.
#ILoveCozad #CozadNE

Every child’s journey starts somewhere. From in-home childcare and daycare to preschool and Head Start, Cozad has people and places helping our youngest learners get a strong start.
Because when we invest in our kids from the very beginning, we’re investing in the future of our entire community.

Because We Make Things Happen Here.
We grow things here.
We make things here.
We build things here.
We move things here.
We work hard here.
From agriculture and manufacturing to fabrication, transportation, distribution and local services, Cozad’s industries help keep our community moving.
They provide jobs. They support families. They invest in our community.
It’s part of what makes Cozad home.

Today, we’re celebrating the neighbors who make Cozad a community we’re proud to call home.
Here’s to being a good neighbor, today and every day!

Harvest brings long days, busy fields and plenty of equipment on the move.
It’s a good reminder that safety needs to be a priority every day for all of us.
Let’s all do our part to make safety a priority this harvest season.
A safe harvest is a successful harvest.

Behind every community event, youth activity, fundraiser, celebration and project, there are people willing to give their time.
They organize.
They volunteer.
They raise money.
They serve meals.
They cheer on kids.
They lend a hand when someone needs it.
They see something that could make Cozad better and say, “How can we help?”
Our community is stronger because of the organizations and groups that bring people together and the volunteers who make their work possible.
There are a lot of people working behind the scenes to make Cozad a great place to live.
And that's something worth loving. ❤️

Take a walk. Shop local. Enjoy a meal downtown. Visit a local event. Finish that project you've been putting off.
And while you're enjoying the season, it's also a great time to start preparing for winter, whether that's getting your home ready, taking care of your business property or making plans for those projects you've been thinking about.
There’s plenty to enjoy about fall in Cozad, and plenty to look forward to in the seasons ahead.
Happy first day of fall!

The people who wave when they drive by.
The neighbors who check in.
The teachers who know your kids.
The coaches who stay late.
The volunteers who give their time.
The business owners who know their customers.
The people who show up, lend a hand and make Cozad feel like home.
A community is more than a place on a map. It’s the people who make it a place you want to be.
And Cozad has some pretty great people.
I Love Cozad. Because of the People. ❤️

Maybe it's the person who always knows your name. Maybe it's the business owner who took a chance and opened a storefront downtown. Maybe it's a teacher who goes the extra mile. Maybe it's a ballgame on a Friday night, a meal with friends, a walk in the park or simply knowing that the things you need are close to home. Or maybe it's all of it.
Over the next several weeks, we're taking a closer look at why we ❤️ Cozad.
And we think there are a lot of good reasons.

The people. The businesses. The schools. The places to gather. The opportunities. The small-town connections. The things that make everyday life feel a little more like home.
Over the next several weeks, we’re going to share some of the reasons we love Cozad and celebrate the people, places and opportunities that make our community special.
And maybe along the way, we’ll remind you of a few things you love about Cozad, too.
I Love Cozad. Because there’s a lot to love.
Follow along. We’re just getting started.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Hay Days 2026 such a great weekend and to everyone who came out and celebrated with us. Thank you to those who decorated, volunteered, sponsored, participated, attended an event or simply helped make Cozad feel a little more like home.
Our Party in the USA may be over, but the reason we celebrate Cozad doesn’t end with Hay Days.
It’s the people. It’s the pride. It’s the memories. It’s Cozad. ❤️
Thank you for being part of what makes this community so special!

At Cozad Development Corporation, we’re proud to support a community that comes together, celebrates together and continues to grow together.
So turn up the music, wave those flags and enjoy Hay Days!
